Und diese Masche zeigt Wirkung. So installiert man gefügig Norton-Geraffel, das das System ausbremst und aus einem 2,4GHz-Rechner einen gefühlten 120MHz-Rechner macht. Auf die Idee zu fragen, ob das alles sein muss, kommt niemand.

Ich habe einen neuen Flickr Bereich zu meinem Blog hinzugefügt. Sehr nett, vor allem wenn man iFlickr auf dem iPhone hat 
Ein neues Bild landet selbst mit dem langsamen Vodafone GSM in wenigen Sekunden bei Flickr und damit sofort auch auf dem Blog.

Just a few well known steps needed:
Enable following lines in the sshd_config (sudo joe /etc/sshd_config) on OSX:
RSAAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication yes
AuthorizedKeysFile .ssh/authorized_keys
On the client generate the keyfile (in this case my client is Ubuntu 7.04):
ssh-keygen -t dsa
cat id_dsa.pub | ssh sascha@mymac ‘cat >>~/.ssh/authorized_keys’
On the mac again verify that the authorized_keys has been created. Afterwords it’s needed to restart the sshd daemon, and not with /etc/init.d/sshd…. instead with following command:
sudo service ssh stop
sudo service ssh start

… we can still use tools to build parts of the functionality of Leopard, Mac OSX 10.5 the new Operating System coming this spring.
One cool application found today was VirtueDesktops. It builds the function as in KDE or Gnome on Linux to switch between screens and can help you separate different applications on different screens. This can be interesting if you’re needing a specific positioning of different applications (as for example at ssh shells) and wants to take a look at Entourage, iTunes or whatever and don’t want to relocate the windows again and again.
I’m using it now with own screens for iTunes, Eclipse and Entourage and all the rest. And switching screens is making a cool cube effect
